Greater Phoenix Chamber Plans Workforce Summit, Aug 30

The Greater Phoenix Chamber and Foundation is pleased to bring together employers and education leaders from across Arizona for their annual Workforce Summit on August 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Desert Willow Conference Center, 4340 E. Cotton Center Blvd, in Phoenix.

This robust program will feature renowned keynote presenters Dr. Gonzales, Chancellor, Maricopa Community College District and John Woods,  Provost and Chief Academic Officer at the University of Phoenix, and panels of local experts to discuss workforce trends affecting business. Guests will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions, allowing them to explore specific issues that may be impacting their business—and walk away with tangible solutions.

The Workforce Summit will include session topics such as:

  • How education is adapting to meet industry needs
  • Workforce practices for the future
  • Mental health in the workplace
  • Diversity, equity & inclusion as a workforce strategy
  • Utilizing data for talent solutions
  • Talent development as an attraction strategy
  • And more!
